I am a Forest School leader and I trained as a teacher at the University of Cambridge, my degree is in Creative and Expressive Therapies. I enjoy long walks, camping and looking after my garden. I always have a project on the go, either making puppets, carving a spoon or practicing a new recipe on the fire.
I became interested in outdoor learning when my eldest son started walking. Being outdoors was a chance for him to explore, discover, challenge himself physically and learn to copy the sounds around us. It was our classroom, a place for us to be and learn together, with never ending surprises. Our play has evolved over the years. Now I have 3 children, my eldest is a teenager, but we have never outgrown nature and being outdoors together. From ladybirds to deer, from ditches to caves, from climbing trees to climbing mountains!

I am very passionate about children and adults having access to nature. Our woodland is a haven for animals and humans alike. I love the peace and tranquillity, but my children love the opportunities it offers to climb, be noisy and explore the energy they feel when outdoors. I trained as an Occupational Therapist but am enjoying working with Olinda in the fresh air.
I work with Olinda in Fulbourn and I love being outdoors
